Lara Beach

The resort of Lara Beach is located approximately 26 kilometers east of the city of Antalya and offers a selection of mainly high quality 4 and 5 star all inclusive holiday hotels. The golden beach is a mix of sand and shingle with excellent tourist facilities offered by all the beach side hotels. Water sports centers, sunbeds, parasols and beach bars/restaurants adjoin each hotel, most facilities included in the hotels tariffs other than a number of motorised water sports. There are little options away from the hotels, a few bars, cafes and a number of tourist shops, but little else. The capital Antalya is worth a visit and takes about 20 – 30 minutes by taxi or local transport. The city has much to offer with an atractive old town, delightful harbour with a selection of good quality fish restaurants and the modern town has some excellent shopping in modern fashion boutiques. Just along from the harbour is a pleasant small sandy beach which is the perfect spot to chill out for a spell and take a quick cooling off swim before returning to your hotel. The resort of Belek is a little further along the coast from Lara Beach and also offers many good quality 4 and 5 star holiday hotels, mainly all inclusive. This area can offer a number of championship golf courses which has helped to make it a popular year round holiday destination.

The City & Old town of Antalya.

Antalya is a fascinating city with a nice mix of new and ancient for the visitor to enjoy. The harbour area is the pick of places to visit, with its attractive marina and selection of restaurants, its an ideal place to have lunch followed by a swim at the small beach just along the way from the harbour. The old town deserves some exploration, with its winding narrow streets that offer many small tourist shops and many cafes for refreshments. The modern part of the city offers good shopping,  take a look down Cumhuriyet Caddesi street which offers some chic boutiques and fashion stores. The city can offer some lively nightlife, many cafes, bars and a host of restaurants including fast food on every corner.

Duden Water full 

The Duden waterfalls are a popular attraction and well worth a days excursion. The river duden extends down from the Tauras all the way down to the Mediterranean sea and features two beautiful waterfalls known as the lower and upper falls. The upper area is the most attractive, sitting in a peaceful valley it offers a number of restaurants and many picnic tables throughout the gardens. The lower falls cascade into the sea and to view it is unnecessary to arrange for a short boat trip. The Duden falls are located 14km from the city of Antalya and the best way to visit is to book a local excursion from your hotel.

Airport Transfer

Throughout Turkey there is a very good bus transportation system. Along the Turkish coastline it is possible to travel short journey’s by Dolmus Minibus. These operate on a very regular basis and take you from point to point for just a small amount of money. Cheap and chearful way to get around.
